On the evening of August 17, at the Yen Tu Historical Relic and Landscape Complex (Quang Ninh), the Ceremony to Announce the Outstanding Global Value of the World Cultural Heritage Complex of Yen Tu-Vinh Nghiem-Con Son, Kiep Bac and the Special Art Program "The Sound of Yen Tu - A Thousand-Year Heritage" took place.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh acknowledged and commended Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh provinces, and Hai Phong city, especially appreciating the efforts of Quang Ninh province as the host locality, playing a key and persistent role throughout the process of building and successfully defending the nomination dossier.

The Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh and Hai Phong provinces to continue advising the Government to complete and supplement legal documents, regulations and rules at the national level and local government levels to best protect and promote the value of the Heritage Complex. The Prime Minister also emphasized the need to further promote the propaganda and promotion of the heritage image, each citizen will be a cultural ambassador in continuing to spread the unique values ​​of the World Heritage Complex and Cultural Landscapes to international friends, especially on the digital platform, contributing to the development of Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity.

The World Cultural Heritage Complex of Yen Tu-Vinh Nghiem-Con Son-Kiep Bac Monuments and Landscapes includes 12 typical relic sites and clusters with a core area of ​​525.75 hectares and a buffer zone of 4,380.19 hectares. Of which, Quang Ninh has 5 relic sites; 2 relic sites in Bac Ninh; 5 relic sites in Hai Phong.

With outstanding global values, at the 47th Session of the World Heritage Committee held in the French Republic, the Yen Tu-Vinh Nghiem-Con Son and Kiep Bac relic and landscape complex in Quang Ninh province, Bac Ninh province and Hai Phong city was recognized as a World Cultural Heritage./.
