The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a plan to organize the 6th Ha Tinh Orange and Agricultural Products Festival in 2023.
The festival is an annual event aimed at introducing, promoting, and honoring the Ha Tinh orange brand and other agricultural products and specialties of the province to domestic and international consumers. It creates opportunities for organizations and individuals to exchange experiences in production, cultivation, variety preservation, and the transfer of scientific and technical knowledge and technology to expand orange cultivation areas and increase productivity and quality of agricultural products.
Creating value chain linkages from production to consumption, developing sustainable products, thereby improving production and business efficiency, commodity prices, and promoting production development to contribute to local economic growth. Enhancing the responsibility of all levels, sectors, and the people in protecting and developing product brands; widely promoting the geographical origin and brand of oranges and other agricultural products of Ha Tinh, linked with quality management, branding, and product traceability.
The Ha Tinh Orange and Agricultural Products Festival is scheduled to be held over three days, from November 24-26, 2023, in the area surrounding Tran Phu Square, Nguyen Du Ward, Ha Tinh City. Approximately 100 stalls showcasing oranges and other Ha Tinh agricultural products are expected, along with supporting cultural, artistic, and culinary activities.
The main products at the festival are oranges and other fruits grown locally in the province, concentrated in the districts of Huong Son, Huong Khe, Vu Quang, Can Loc, Thach Ha, Cam Xuyen, and Ky Anh. Agricultural products, specialties, seafood, forestry products, OCOP products, and typical rural industrial products... from organizations, businesses, cooperatives, and individuals in the districts, cities, and towns of the province are also available. Agricultural supplies and seedlings for production are also offered. The festival showcases products, cultural achievements, scientific and technological advancements, and the results of the province's New Rural Development Program.
