Engineer Mayté Medina López announced that the application is currently in the final design phase, almost ready to move to the programming and deployment phase to meet the needs of the Cuban National Association of the Blind (ANCI) so that members can learn about e-commerce on their own.

This innovative program features audio guides, verification games, and a glossary for learning.

To date, no application has been developed for this purpose, and as part of the digital transformation, it is essential to be accessible to everyone, says IT engineer Mayté Medina López.

Mayté Medina López says it’s always important to consider how to make apps and websites more accessible to all users. The project is expected to launch in August and will include in-home training for the visually impaired.
