
Earlier, at around 4:00 AM on December 10th, in the border area, during a patrol and inspection, a task force from Tan Thanh Border Guard Station, Dong Nai Provincial Border Guard, spotted a person riding a motorbike carrying a black sack, exhibiting suspicious behavior. Upon inspection, the driver dismounted and fled.
The items seized at the scene included one motorbike and three black sacks containing 54 boxes of firecrackers with a total weight of 87.7 kg. Subsequently, at 6:45 PM on the same day, the Operations Department of the Dong Nai Provincial Border Guard, in coordination with the Hoang Dieu Border Gate Border Guard Station and other functional forces, apprehended an individual residing in Binh Quoi Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, for illegally transporting firecrackers by car. A direct inspection at the scene resulted in the seizure of one car and 70 boxes of firecrackers with a total weight of 144 kg.
These incidents are currently being documented and processed by Tan Thanh Border Guard Station and Hoang Dieu Border Gate Border Guard Station in coordination with relevant authorities, in accordance with the law.
