Volunteer soldier Chu Huu Vuong (born in 1998) said: "This is the second year I have participated in the banh chung wrapping activity at the unit. The uncles and brothers are very affectionate, I feel like I am celebrating Tet with my family."

Along with looking after the banh chung, every night the soldiers still have to be on duty and check fire safety at facilities in the area.
