Brigade 172, Region 3 of the Navy, launches a high-intensity emulation campaign to celebrate major holidays.

On March 3, 2025, in Da Nang, Brigade 172, Naval Region 3 held the 2025 training launch ceremony and launched the "Lightning Speed ​​- Determined Victory" peak emulation campaign.

In 2025, Brigade 172 has set the following goals: Continuing training according to the motto "Basic, practical, and solid"; emphasizing comprehensive, in-depth training in a modern direction; closely combining military training with political education; combat training linked to building a regular force and maintaining strict discipline; strengthening long-distance training in the sea areas under sovereignty; taking the task of protecting the sovereignty of the Fatherland's seas and islands and building the Navy, Region, and Brigade into a "revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern " force as the training objective.

The delegates toured the models, teaching aids, and innovative training initiatives.

Speaking at the ceremony, Rear Admiral Nguyen Dinh Hung, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy Commander of the Navy, commended the training achievements of Brigade 172 in 2024 and requested that the Party Committee and command of Brigade 172 continue to effectively implement the resolutions of the Party at all levels; the orders, directives, and guidance plans of superiors on training; strengthen political and ideological education , creating a stronger transformation in the awareness and responsibility of officers and soldiers towards training tasks; focus on breakthroughs in key contents, priorities, and new issues; pay attention to ensuring full and timely logistical and technical support for training tasks; promote the movement to develop initiatives and technical improvements to serve training and combat readiness…

At the ceremony, on behalf of the Minister of National Defense , Rear Admiral Nguyen Dinh Hung presented the "Excellent Training Unit" flag for 2024 from the Ministry of National Defense to Brigade 172.

On this occasion, the Brigade launched a high-intensity emulation campaign "Rapid - Decisive Victory" to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and National Reunification, the 135th anniversary of the birth of President Ho Chi Minh, and the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Navy, with practical emulation contents and targets. The high-intensity emulation campaign will take place from March 1st to May 19th, 2025.

Following the training commencement ceremony, delegates also participated in a mass exercise performance, visited exhibitions of models, training aids, and innovative training initiatives; and competed in the CEMA-450 rowing competition and CISM running of the Brigade.

Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Tu Thoan, Deputy Political Commissar of the Brigade and Head of the Organizing Committee, presided over the judging of the competition entries.

On the same day, Brigade 172, Region 3 of the Navy, organized the judging of entries in the competition to learn about the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the Unification of the Country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

The competition was organized to raise awareness among cadres, soldiers, and the people about the significance, great scale, and historical value of the Great Victory of Spring 1975 in the history of the nation's struggle for national liberation and defense. Through this, it contributes to educating, motivating, and strengthening the faith, and arousing pride and responsibility of cadres, soldiers, and the people towards the task of building and firmly protecting the sovereignty of the Fatherland's seas and islands in the new situation.

Following the launch of the contest, the Political Department of Brigade 172 received more than 200 entries from officers and soldiers of agencies and units under the Brigade's direct control, as well as from affiliated organizations and individuals (Binh Dinh Provincial Youth Union, An Hai Bac Ward Youth Union, Hoang Hoa Tham High School Youth Union, and Phan Boi Chau Secondary School Youth Union).

According to the judging panel, this year's entries were meticulously presented, creative, and showed careful investment in content, layout, and images collected from valuable historical sources.

After the competition, the Organizing Committee will summarize the results, award prizes to the winning groups of authors and individuals, and select outstanding, high-quality works to participate in the competition organized by the higher authority.
