Accordingly, due to the influence of the low pressure area in the East Sea, in the past 2 days, Phu Quy island district has had very heavy and prolonged thunderstorms, causing coastal erosion and flooding in some places in the area.

This morning, November 17, a house in Trieu Duong village, Tam Thanh commune was also flooded. Upon receiving the information, the Phu Quy Port Border Guard Station sent forces to help people move their belongings in their homes to prevent flooding.

Previously, on the evening of November 16, officers and soldiers of Phu Quy Port Border Guard Station also coordinated with armed forces, local authorities and local people to urgently overcome the coastal landslide incident in Quy Hai village, Long Hai commune.

That very night, soldiers and local people reinforced the landslide area. Currently, the landslide area has been contained and repaired, thereby helping people stabilize their lives.
