According to statistics from the Mau Son Tourist Area Management Department, from the afternoon of January 22nd to 2 PM on January 23rd, the Mau Son Tourist Area in Loc Binh district attracted more than 2,000 visitors to see the ice formations.
According to information from the Mau Son Meteorological Station, the temperature at the summit of Mau Son at 1 PM today was -1.6 degrees Celsius. The entire summit of Mau Son mountain continues to be covered in frost.


Despite the harsh weather, many tourists from all over still flock to Mau Son Tourist Area to see the frost.

Reportedly, from the evening of January 22nd, a large number of tourists used cars and motorbikes to travel up Mau Son mountain to admire the frost. By the second day, the frost on the summit of Mau Son mountain had become thicker, more beautiful, and more dazzling, thus attracting even more tourists to the area.



Frost clinging to tree branches and blades of grass creates a shimmering, beautiful scene.
At times, traffic congestion has occurred on many small roads leading from the foot of Mau Son mountain to its summit. Local authorities have organized traffic diversion, directing vehicles going up to the tourist area via the Ban Tang intersection, Provincial Road 421 connecting to National Highway 4B. Vehicles descending the mountain should turn onto Cong Son road at kilometer 22, then proceed to Hai Yen commune, and finally to Cao Loc town (Cao Loc district).


Many tourists enjoy taking beautiful photos with the frost.
The road to the summit of Mau Son mountain is narrow and winding, with many sharp turns. Furthermore, the current temperature continues to drop rapidly, accompanied by dense fog, making travel difficult for vehicles. Therefore, visitors should drive safely when traveling to this area.

At this time, many locals and tourists continue to go up Mau Son to admire the frost.
This is the strongest cold snap since the beginning of winter. According to forecasts, due to the influence of the cold air, temperatures at the summit of Mau Son mountain will drop, and frost will continue for the next two days.
