On June 30, 2023, the Ninh Binh City Police issued a decision to temporarily detain Tran Dai Huynh, born in 1983, residing in Duc Tho district, Ha Tinh province, for investigation into the act of destroying property.
Earlier, at approximately 4:20 PM on June 29, 2023, a fire broke out at the Taiwanese bubble tea shop located at 105 Tran Nhan Tong Street, Phuc Thinh Ward, Bich Dao Commune.
Immediately after receiving the report, the Ninh Binh City Police quickly coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of the Provincial Police to deploy forces and equipment to the scene to implement measures to control and extinguish the fire, preventing it from spreading to neighboring houses.
Simultaneously, through professional investigative measures, the Ninh Binh City Police quickly apprehended and arrested the perpetrator of the incident, Tran Dai Huynh; the police seized one revolver (9 bullets) and one lighter used to ignite gasoline...
At the police station, Tran Dai Huynh initially confessed that due to a relationship conflict with his wife, Ms. TT D, born in 1990, residing in Hong Linh town, Ha Tinh province, and currently working at the restaurant owned by Mr. BVG, born in 1992, located at 105 Tran Nhan Tong Street, Phuc Thinh neighborhood, Bich Dao ward, he brought a homemade gun and gasoline to set the restaurant on fire. The incident resulted in the burning of furniture on the first floor of the restaurant, and Ms. D suffered burns to her face and had to be hospitalized.
Currently, the Ninh Binh City Police Investigation Agency is continuing to expand the investigation and consolidate evidence to handle the case according to the law.
