The official election day is Sunday, May 23, 2026. Voting will take place from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on that day.
Immediately after receiving directives and plans from higher authorities, Trung Son Ward promptly proceeded with organizational work, finalizing 10 polling areas.
The Ward Election Committee has been established according to Decision No. 523/QD-UBND dated November 12, 2025. The organizations responsible for the elections have also been clearly divided: Trung Son Ward will establish 4 Election Committees for the Ward People's Council, to be completed in December 2025. The entire ward will organize 10 polling stations (corresponding to 10 voting areas), ensuring the most favorable conditions for voters to exercise their civic rights, to be completed before March 3, 2026.
Preparations of infrastructure, ballot boxes, and other necessary conditions at the 10 designated polling stations must be completed before election day.
Trung Son Ward's plan outlined a detailed roadmap month by month, ensuring that all procedures strictly adhered to the Election Law.
First consultation (expected February 2026): Agreement on the structure, composition, and number of candidates to be nominated for the Ward People's Council.
Second round of consultations (expected March 2026): Preliminary list of candidates will be compiled. Simultaneously, the preparation and posting of the voter list will be a key task in the first quarter of 2026 and must be completed before April 13, 2026.
The voter list will be posted at the Ward People's Committee headquarters and polling stations. Third consultation (expected April 2026): Discussion, selection, and finalization of the official list of candidates for Ward People's Council representatives, ensuring quality and structure according to regulations.
In particular, the Ward Election Committee pays special attention to resolving complaints and denunciations regarding the voter list and candidates, and must complete this process no later than 10 days before the election day (i.e., before May 13, 2026).
Public awareness campaigns are identified as one of the key tasks throughout the Plan, aiming to raise awareness and a sense of responsibility among voters.
Peak period: Starting in early March 2026 and intensifying to the maximum until the end of election day.
Diverse approaches: Synchronized coordination between all levels, maximum use of mass media and information and propaganda forces. Organizing seminars and propaganda campaigns in diverse forms, promptly, widely, and effectively reaching every citizen.
The ward's website will open a dedicated section or category to disseminate legal information, update election activities, conduct interviews, and hold seminars.
The Ward Election Committee requires relevant organizations to develop specific plans to ensure the safety of election officials and polling stations, especially on the official election day, May 23, 2026, guaranteeing absolute safety of people and property.
This plan demonstrates the proactive and decisive approach of Trung Son Ward in preparing for a successful election, selecting worthy representatives who will represent the will and aspirations of the people in the new term.
