Happy Ekiden brings MB Ageas Life the title of “Marketing Campaign of the Year” at the Asia Insurance Awards. With its impressive success and strong ripple effect, MB Ageas Life Insurance Company Limited was honored by Asia Insurance Magazine in the “Marketing Campaign of the Year” category. The event took place within the framework of the Asia Insurance Awards 2024 ceremony on July 9, 2024 in Singapore.

The Insurance Asia Awards is a prestigious annual award organized by Insurance Asia Magazine to honor insurance companies across the continent that have impressive initiatives and deliver value to customers and the insurance market as a whole. Selected companies must meet many stringent criteria set by an independent judging panel, comprised of financial experts from the world's top four auditing firms (Deloitte, EY, PwC, KPMG). In their congratulatory announcement, the organizers affirmed that Happy Ekiden is the only professional running event organized by a life insurance company, setting a distinct mark compared to other races. Happy Ekiden has spread many positive values to the community, providing opportunities to strengthen emotional bonds and enhance the spiritual well-being of family members. First organized in 2018, the Happy Ekiden relay race is a large-scale annual running event organized by MB Ageas Life with the goal of partnering with Operation Smile Vietnam. All proceeds from ticket sales are donated to bring happy smiles to children with cleft lip and palate deformities completely free of charge. More than just a sporting event, Happy Ekiden provides a space for family members to experience and connect after busy work and study schedules. Therefore, Happy Ekiden is not a race focused on achievement; participants are not individual athletes but rather part of a journey of shared happiness, in line with the overarching message of MB Ageas Life life insurance brand. Carrying the meaning of enhancing experiences of happiness, Happy Ekiden has resonated strongly within the community. This explains why MB Ageas Life's race is attracting more and more families, from 200 families registering in 2018 to 800 families in the 2023 season, setting a record for a major running event with over 20,000 participants and over 8,000 km conquered.

The widespread impact of Happy Ekiden 2023 has led the race to be among the top 10 trending topics on social media, according to a report from Kompa. Along with a series of activities spreading the message of "Healthy Happiness," the campaign has contributed to MB Ageas Life's brand ranking, placing it in the Top 6 of the YMI Brand Health Ranking 2023, as announced by YouNet Index.
