(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Singers Hoang Hai, Minh Quan, Sen Hoang My Lam... will participate in the music night "Van Yen - A 60-Year Journey of Aspiration, Breakthrough, and Development" with outstanding songs.

On the evening of January 3rd, Yen Bai province held a dress rehearsal for the art program "Van Yen - A Journey of 60 Years of Aspiration, Breakthrough, and Development," directed by playwright Le The Song.

The program is part of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the founding of Van Yen district (December 16, 1964 - December 16, 2024), welcoming Van Yen district's achievement of new rural standards in 2024 and the awarding of the Second Class Labor Medal, held on the evening of January 4th at Van Yen District Stadium, Yen Bai province.

Sharing his thoughts on the art program, author Le The Song said that the land of Van Yen, with its rich tradition of heroic history, inspired him and his team to create and stage an art program with many epic, tragic, and lyrical segments.

"The art performance will take viewers on a special emotional journey, vividly portraying the land and people of Van Yen, Yen Bai, along with the proud journey of 60 years of construction and development."

"I used many artistic techniques that were both literary, aesthetic, and highly entertaining in this concert," said author Le The Song.

The art program consists of three chapters: Chapter 1: Glorious history, radiant tradition ; Chapter 2: Rich identity - a land of flourishing ; Chapter 3: Aspiration, breakthrough, development .

The program featured performances by singers Hoang Hai, Minh Quan, Ngoc Anh, Sen Hoang My Lam, Tien Hung, To Thu Ha, the Vietnam Contemporary Art Theatre, students from Chu Van An High School, militia members, and folk artists from Van Yen district, Yen Bai province...

The songs to be performed on stage include: Song of Unity - Love for Van Yen Land (composed by Van An), The Fragrant Cinnamon Scent, Van Yen, My Beloved Homeland (composed by An Hieu), Song of Building a New Rural Area (Music and lyrics: Ngoc Khue), Beloved Yen Bai (Lyrics: Do Quang, music: Phuong Nhung), Walking Amidst the Brilliant Sky (Music and lyrics: Ngo Lan Huong), Vietnam in a New Era (Music and lyrics: Nguyen Van Chung), Van Yen's Aspiration to Reach Further (Music and lyrics: Lam Dung Tien)...

The highlight of the program was the introduction of the cultural identity of the ethnic groups in Van Yen district through a selective theatrical performance format.

Based on the musical elements of the dances performed by the artists themselves, the audience can enjoy dances rich in the ethnic identity of the representative ethnic groups living in Van Yen, namely: the Hmong Khen and Xenh Tien stick dance, the Tay Xoe dance, the bell dance (Dao), the Gau bird dance (Cao Lan), the new rice dance (Xa Pho)...

During the concert, composer Le The Song also introduced the song "Radiant Van Yen," written specifically for the program.
