At the ceremony, many cooperation agreements were signed. In particular, Co Ba Hong Cooperative signed a cooperation agreement with Vung Tam Vermicelli Cooperative (Binh Lu) to consume 100 tons of vermicelli; signed an agreement with Viettel Lai Chau Post Office Branch to support logistics and transport of cassava and vermicelli products, creating conditions for local products to reach the market more widely.

Viet Cuong Vermicelli Cooperative (Dong Hy, Thai Nguyen ) signed a contract with Vung Tam Vermicelli Cooperative and Tay Bac Agricultural Products Joint Stock Company to consume 100 tons of arrowroot powder, opening the way to bring products to e-commerce platforms and inter-provincial distribution channels.

The event is an important step of Lai Chau Industry and Trade sector in promoting the consumption of typical agricultural products, especially products processed from cassava - a great advantage of the province.

According to the provincial Department of Agriculture and Environment, by 2025, the whole province will have 2,938 hectares of cassava cultivation, with an estimated output of more than 100,000 tons of tubers. However, the consumption volume has only reached more than 34,000 tons, with businesses and cooperatives continuing to purchase about 23,700 tons; there are still more than 42,000 tons that need consumption support.

Many localities have large areas and output of cassava such as Sin Suoi Ho (901 ha - 30,840 tons), Doan Ket ward (373 ha - 12,770 tons), Khong Lao commune (421 ha - 14,411 tons) and Binh Lu commune with 106 ha, output of 3,630 tons. Large volume of products and concentrated harvest time make the market prone to oversupply, requiring strengthening production - consumption linkage to avoid raw material congestion.

In that general picture, Binh Lu commune plays the role of Lai Chau's traditional arrowroot processing center. With large establishments such as Vung Tam Arrowroot Vermicelli Cooperative and Binh Lu Agricultural Service Cooperative, the total purchasing and processing capacity reaches about 22,000 tons per year. Binh Lu arrowroot vermicelli products are highly appreciated for their clarity, toughness, and retention of their characteristic flavor, and have been consumed well for many years in the northern provinces and border markets.

A representative of Lai Chau Department of Industry and Trade affirmed that the industry is committed to continuing to play the role of a solid "bridge", promoting trade promotion and connecting consumption; forming stable raw material areas, associated with large-scale production, ensuring sustainable output for people, and strongly promoting the rural economy.

The signing event in Binh Lu shows a clear change in the thinking of agricultural production and business in Lai Chau, from small scale to sustainable chain linkage. These agreements have promptly solved the output for cassava in the season, laying the foundation for building the brand "Binh Lu - Lai Chau cassava vermicelli" towards export.
