MobiFone successfully achieved its 2024 targets and will continue to 'accelerate - break through

In 2024, the most important targets, profit and contributions to the State budget, were both exceeded by MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation, with pre-tax profit exceeding the plan by 20.1% and contributions to the State budget exceeding the plan by 56.7%.

On December 27th, MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation held a conference to implement Party building work and the business production plan for 2025. Attending and directing the conference was Comrade Nguyen Hoang Anh . Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Chairman of the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises.

2024 was a challenging year for telecommunications businesses, and for MobiFone, it was a double challenge as it transitioned from 4G to 5G technology while simultaneously transforming itself into a technology-driven enterprise in line with its strategic plan.

However, with the spirit of turning "danger" into "opportunity," the unity and solidarity of the entire system, and the close attention and guidance of the leaders of the State Capital Management Committee at enterprises, the leaders of the Ministry of Information and Communications , the Party Committee of the Central Enterprise Bloc, and other superior management agencies, MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation has gone through 2024 with many important achievements.

Last year, the most important targets – profit and contributions to the State budget – were both exceeded by MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation. Pre-tax profit exceeded the plan by 20.1%, and contributions to the State budget exceeded the plan by 56.7%. MobiFone's digital services sector witnessed high growth rates for many products and services such as MobiFone Meet (1,050% growth), Cloud (312%), mobiAgri (49%), and MobiFone Invoice (58%).

MobiFone not only continues to maintain its capabilities in the telecommunications industry but also affirms its position as a pioneering digital technology enterprise, contributing to the national digital transformation. Its strategies for developing new products, improving services, and accelerating 5G technology transition have yielded positive results, enhancing customer experience and boosting MobiFone's competitiveness in the market.

In 2025, entering its fourth decade, MobiFone's leadership stated that the Group is determined to shift its slogan from " Maintaining telecommunications while attacking new spaces" to "Accelerating - Breaking Through - Reaching New Heights," moving from maintaining telecommunications to attacking telecommunications, and from responding to 5G to attacking 5G. Leveraging technology, digital transformation, and enhancing management capabilities, the Group aims to become a TechCo (Techcombank) enterprise as soon as possible . Simultaneously, it will continue to focus on three pillars to build its competitiveness: Digital infrastructure, Partner development, and Management. " MobiFone needs to continue promoting infrastructure development and 5G service deployment; strengthen digital transformation and develop digital services, develop services for consumers and expand into areas such as e-government, digital financial services, and digital healthcare; focus on completing investment projects, increasing resources and implementing important projects in 2025; strengthen financial management and optimize costs; ensure information security and customer data confidentiality, " Mr. Nguyen Hoang Anh gave some specific directives.
