Turkish authorities said on September 4 that some Google services, including YouTube, were temporarily suspended in the country and several other European countries such as Greece and Germany.
According to Türkiye's Internet censorship agency, the problem began at around 10am local time (2pm Vietnam time). The website Downdetector said most services were restored about 2 hours later.
Türkiye's Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Omer Fatih Sayan said the areas affected by the incident included Turkey, much of southeastern Europe and some locations in Ukraine, Russia and Western Europe.
According to Mr. Sayan, Turkish authorities have asked Google to provide a technical report related to this incident.
Meanwhile, many users reported connection disruptions in Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia and Romania, including problems accessing websites and YouTube.
In Germany, the Internet outage monitoring website (allestoerungen.de) said Google's access disruptions increased from around 9am local time (2pm Vietnam time).
Google has not yet commented on the above information./.
