Vietnam achieved high results at APICTA 2025.

On December 9, in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan - China, the Vietnamese delegation successfully won important awards, affirming the region's technological and innovation capacity at the Asia- Pacific Information and Communications Technology Alliance Awards (APICTA Awards 2025).

This is an annual international award organized by the Asia- Pacific Information and Communications Technology Alliance (APICTA) with 14 member economies, to recognize and honor outstanding software products, solutions and services.

The APICTA 2025 Awards brought together 205 teams with 256 nominations from 12 economies , competing in Kaohsiung from December 5-8, 2025. This is an essential platform to promote cooperation, technology transfer and investment attraction in the region.

The Vietnamese delegation is attending the APICTA Awards 2025 in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan - China.

The Vietnamese delegation participating in APICTA 2025 consisted of 3 judges and 8 teams, with 11 nominations. With high determination, bringing pioneering technological solutions focusing on hot fields such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cybersecurity, and Industrial Digital Transformation, the delegation achieved very positive results with 3 awards, including 1 Second Prize for The Smartlog Logistics Ecosystem solution by SmartLog Company in the INDUSTRIAL - Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Logistics category; 1 Third Prize for SAM Appliance solution by Savyint Company in the Business Services - Security solutions category; and 1 Encouragement Award for MedCAT IDUS product by MedCAT JSC in the Joint APICTA/IEEE AI Startup Award category.

01 Second Prize belongs to The Smartlog Logistics Ecosystem solution of SmartLog Company in the INDUSTRIAL - Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Logistics category

The Smartlog Logistics Ecosystem is a comprehensive (End-to-End) logistics ecosystem combining SaaS (Software as a Service) and LaaS (Logistics as a Service) platforms to optimize the entire supply chain, from warehousing (WMS) and transportation (TMS) to network planning. SAM Appliance helps financial institutions and governments build specialized digital signature systems, minimizing security risks and enhancing trust in electronic transactions.

01 Encouragement Prize belongs to MedCAT IDUS product of MedCAT JSC in the Joint APICTA/IEEE AI Startup Award category.

MedCAT IDUS is a groundbreaking Sovereign Document AI platform specifically designed for the healthcare and insurance sectors. Utilizing its proprietary Small Language Modeling (SLM) and Vision-Language Modeling (VLM) technologies, optimized for Vietnamese and English medical languages, the product allows for the extraction and structuring of data from complex, non-standardized documents (such as clinical reports and hospital invoices) with over 97% accuracy. Importantly, the solution ensures data sovereignty, can be deployed on-premise, and adheres to stringent security regulations. MedCAT IDUS has increased record processing productivity tenfold, reduced management costs by 30-50%, and contributed to the sustainable and effective digital transformation of healthcare.
