Forecast in the next 3 hours, thunderstorms continue to develop and cause showers with thunderstorms and lightning in the above areas. After that, thunderstorms are likely to spread to neighboring areas. Rainfall is generally from 13 - 15mm, possibly over 15mm. During thunderstorms, beware of lightning and strong gusts of wind.

Explaining this unseasonal rain, MSc. Le Thi Xuan Lan, a hydrometeorological expert, said: Unseasonal rain is not a rare phenomenon in the South. However, through monitoring and recording the actual situation at the Hang Xanh intersection (Binh Thanh District), it is seen that the amount of rain is quite large, possibly reaching 20mm, lasting about 20 minutes, which is relatively unusual.

The cause of this rain is due to the disturbance of the east wind zone pushing moisture from the sea causing rain. This morning, rain also occurred in the border area with Cambodia in the provinces of Binh Phuoc and Long An.
