On the night of April 20, Hanoi experienced heavy rain, combined with thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds, causing trees to fall. There was also hail in some places.

As planned, Dreamy Cities summer tour - one of the big music events of the summer - will take place from 3pm to late night on April 20 at Yen So park.

However, that same evening, heavy rain suddenly caused the program to be temporarily suspended.

On the program's fanpage, the organizers announced: "To ensure the safety of participating residents, the show Dreamy Cities of Hanoi will be temporarily suspended due to unforeseen weather conditions."

Accordingly, heavy rain and storms caused flooding and lightning; the stage area had too much electrical equipment.

The organizers hope "audiences will please move and evacuate out of this area to ensure everyone's safety."

The show was going on when... it rained.

In response to the audience's question of whether to stay or go home, in the comments section, the organizers advised to go home. The organizers will have a plan as soon as possible for the audience attending the event.

"In such a short time, the organizers need time to deal with equipment, artists, and stage issues, so we hope the audience will patiently listen and sympathize with the program," the page wrote.

In addition, to ensure the safety of the audience, the program also cut off all electricity so it is not possible to directly notify residents at the event. We hope that the audience will quickly move to ensure safety.

After the organizers of Dreamy Cities announced, artists participating in the show such as tlinh, Chillies... also shared the information with fans.

Accordingly, all the latest information related to the event will be updated on the program's official fanpage.

Dreamy Cities is one of the music events that has attracted a large number of young audiences in recent years.

This year's tour starts in Hanoi on April 20, Da Nang on May 18 and ends in Ho Chi Minh City on June 15.

In Hanoi, the program features a series of artists: Vu., Low G, Obito, Grey D, Chillies, tlinh, Madihu, Hai Sam, The Flob, Vu Thanh Van, 7Uppercuts, Abyxx.

Online, the news of the show being suspended mid-performance attracted the attention of many music lovers.

Besides the sympathetic comments, "I feel sorry for the organizers", "the organizers have the hardest time of the year, after the Sweet band's show, it's the heavens"... there were also many audiences taking photos to capture memorable "historical" moments. Some audiences jokingly called this "cities of showers", not dreamy.
