Singer My Linh had a successful performance at Myunghwa Live Hall in Seoul, South Korea, on the night of October 11, local time, as part of a tour called "Hello Korea."
This is the first time singer My Linh has toured Japan, Korea and several other countries in Asia. The tour also marks My Linh’s return after 7 years since her last live show.
In this reunion, My Linh appeared with a modern yet familiar appearance, performing a series of hits associated with the Diva's name such as "Short Hair," "Noontime," "Magnolia Scent" ... but in a completely new arrangement. The atmosphere of the performance hall with a capacity of about 1,000 people became increasingly heated through the very genuine performance of the songs, along with the very close confidences of the female singer.
Speaking to the community while attending the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to Korea Vu Ho emphasized that each art program is not simply a music performance, but also an opportunity for the community to feel, appreciate and spread the good values of Vietnamese culture. Music - like all other forms of culture, always originates from life, the human soul, the breath of the nation and love for the homeland and country.
On this occasion, the Ambassador reminded the Vietnamese community, no matter which country they are living in, to always turn towards their homeland, people and beloved Fatherland. He said that in recent times, Vietnam has faced many difficulties due to natural disasters and climate change, but has also received sentiments, sharing and valuable contributions from overseas Vietnamese and Korean friends for their compatriots in the country.
On behalf of the Party, State and people of Vietnam, the Ambassador expressed his deep gratitude for this timely and valuable assistance. He called on the entire Vietnamese community - with compassion, solidarity and love for compatriots - to continue joining hands to help the homeland overcome the current losses and difficulties.
Accompanying My Linh on the tour is musician Anh Quan - her life partner and close musical collaborator, who has been behind a series of My Linh-style remixes throughout her 30-year career.
Another notable highlight is the presence of My Anh - a young artist of "Gen Z", the youngest daughter of My Linh and currently a member of the band The Band. The combination of two generations of artists, along with the presence of singer Hoang Dung, brought a special fusion between tradition and modernity, creating memorable moments on stage.

To prepare for this tour, the singer and her crew had planned for many months and the costs for the 30-person production team, including airfare, visas, and hotels, were also very expensive. My Linh said that the costs for the stage and sound equipment accounted for the majority of the money needed, but the crew did not hesitate to invest to bring the Vietnamese community abroad the best musical experiences.
My Linh is famous for her pop music with a series of songs that live on in many generations of Vietnamese people. In 1993, she won the “most impressive young singer” award at the National Band Festival with the song “Spring Whisper” (Ngoc Chau).
In 1998, My Linh married musician Anh Quan and then marked a change in musical style with the albums "Short Hair," "Made in Vietnam," "Chat with Mozart," "Let Love Sing," "Short Hair Acoustic - One Day." In recent years, the singer has mainly focused on teaching and training.
In 2023, My Linh continued to make her mark when participating in a Chinese music reality TV show called "Dap Gio 2023" in Vietnamese with an energetic and enthusiastic performance style./.
