College male student got into a fight because his girlfriend demanded 200,000 VND

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Due to a dispute over payment for beer at his girlfriend's birthday party, a male student from Vinh Long College challenged a 10th-grade student to a fight. The incident was subsequently shared on social media.

On the afternoon of October 28, the People's Committee of Vinh Long province held a regular press conference for the third quarter. Here, a representative of the Vinh Long Provincial Police informed about the case of Vinh Long College students fighting with 10th grade students in the area, which happened in September.

According to the police, the incident occurred when NMA (a student in class 10A13 at Nguyen Thong High School) lent HKN (15 years old, a student at Vinh Long College) 200,000 VND to buy beer for her birthday party.

Two days later, A. texted N. demanding the money back, and N. repaid the amount. However, NTT (15 years old, N.'s boyfriend, a classmate) was upset that A. had attended N.'s birthday party, lent her money, and then texted her demanding it back.

T. enlisted eight other students from Vinh Long College to find A. and settle the score.

Here, T. and A. started fighting. The others stood outside watching.

As a result, T. suffered a torn lip, while A. was unharmed. After the fight, both sides dispersed on their own.

The incident occurred, but the school did not notify the police. After the media reported on it, the school summoned them for questioning.

On September 27th, Vinh Long College disciplined NTT with a temporary suspension from studies, while eight others received a warning.

Regarding student NMA, Nguyen Thong High School has disciplined her with a reprimand.
