Improving knowledge of copyright and related rights for cultural managers

DNO - On the afternoon of September 9, in Da Nang, the School of Cultural, Sports and Tourism Management (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) opened a training course to improve knowledge of copyright and related rights, with the participation of nearly 70 students who are cultural management officers of units in the field of management, creation and performing arts.

Over four days, participants received instruction from lecturers of the Vietnam Copyright Office and the Vietnam Creative and Copyright Association on topics including: the legal system of copyright and related rights; management and enforcement of copyright and related rights in the context of international integration and the digital environment; exploitation and protection of copyright, the role and activities of collective copyright representation organizations; the process of enforcing copyright protection in Vietnam; the process of examining copyright and related rights in Vietnam; and the process of administrative enforcement in the digital environment…

The training course aims to contribute to enhancing knowledge of copyright and related rights for cultural management officials and applying it in management, creation, and performance. This will encourage the creation of valuable artistic products that contribute to the cultural industry, cultural and economic development, and simultaneously spread awareness and respect for copyright and the protection of the creative environment.
