The teaching profession is likened to a ferryman, transporting students to the shore of knowledge; leading the way, opening the journey to adulthood and establishing a career. On that journey, teachers endure many obstacles and challenges. In 1998, with its social responsibility, SGGP Newspaper came up with the idea of ​​organizing an award to honor teachers, the award was named after Mr. Vo Truong Toan, a famous teacher of the old Saigon - Gia Dinh land. Through many changes of the times, a quarter of a century, the award has become a support for many teachers.
