The event attracted more than 5,000 students and workers, along with more than 30 businesses in many fields such as banking, finance, insurance, securities, accounting - auditing, information technology, trade, construction and logistics.

Ms. Dao Tuyet Mai, recruitment specialist of Orient Commercial Joint Stock Bank (OCB ), said that the job fair is an opportunity for businesses to approach young, dynamic and eager-to-learn human resources. Through interviews, many students showed initiative, thorough preparation and clear career orientation. OCB currently needs to recruit about 20 interns in the positions of tellers, personal financial consultants and credit support; at the same time, it can expand the quota if there are qualified candidates.

According to the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, the “Internship and Employment” festival is an annual activity of the unit to create a space for connection between the school, businesses and students. After 27 years of organization, the program has provided more than 135,000 job opportunities, attracting about 200,000 participants from students, workers and businesses in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring areas.
In addition to recruitment activities, the fair also includes career support activities such as mock interviews with experts, career orientation seminars, experience sharing workshops and exhibitions of creative products by students. The event aims to create opportunities for learners to access labor market information, while helping businesses find suitable personnel.

The highlight of the UEH Career Fair 2025, Phase 2, is the contest “Conquering Employers 2025” with the message “Where Talents Shine”, organized by UEH in collaboration with TOPCV Vietnam Joint Stock Company. The contest attracted nearly 700 contestants, going through 5 rounds simulating the actual recruitment process including application submission, creative challenge, group work, individual interview and the final round of debate.

Dr. Dinh Cong Khai, Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics, said that in the context of artificial intelligence and digital transformation strongly impacting business activities and the labor market, quick adaptation and mastery of technology is the key to help young people affirm their career position. The contest "Conquering employers" is organized to provide opportunities to experience the actual recruitment process, helping students understand their own abilities and practice professional style in a modern environment.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Home Affairs, the end of the year and the beginning of the new year is the most vibrant time for the labor market. It is expected that, in the run-up to the Lunar New Year 2026, the total recruitment demand in the city will reach about 25,000 - 30,000 positions, concentrated in three main industries: processing - manufacturing industry; services - trade - tourism - logistics and information technology - finance - business administration.
