Nghe An: Highlights on October 12

* On the morning of October 12, the Steering Committee for developing the Project to rearrange district and commune-level administrative units in Nghe An province for the period 2023 - 2025 met to listen to the overall plan to rearrange district and commune-level administrative units in the province.

* On the afternoon of October 12, in Vinh City, Nghe An provincial leaders organized a meeting and honoring program for outstanding businesses and entrepreneurs in 2023 on the occasion of Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day (October 13). On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 25 businesses and 5 outstanding entrepreneurs with outstanding achievements in production and business activities, contributing to promoting economic growth and contributing to the province's social security work in 2023.

* On the morning of October 12, the Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council had a working session with the People's Committee of Thanh Chuong district according to the program of surveying the implementation of resolutions issued by the Provincial People's Council in the legal field.

*As part of the Techfest Nghe An Open 2023 event series, on the morning of October 12, the Department of Science and Technology opened the exhibition and introduced products and works that won the 2023 science and technology innovation award, and potential startup project products.

* In the first 9 months of 2023, the Nghe An Public Security Traffic Police organized 24,358 patrols and recorded 61,125 administrative violations. Of which, 11,587 cases were violations of alcohol concentration, corresponding to a fine of nearly 45 billion VND.
