* In recent days, farmers in Que Phong and Quy Chau districts have been actively going to the fields to sow and transplant the spring crop of 2024.

According to information from the Tien Phong commune government, in the 2024 spring crop, the whole commune has 297 hectares of wet rice. Currently, the weather is not too cold and there is light rain, so the fields retain water. This is a favorable condition for farmers to plant the spring crop. In the border commune of Tri Le (Que Phong), farmers have basically finished plowing the wet rice fields. This is the area that produces "cây noi" (chicken) rice, a specialty of the Thai people in Tri Le. Japonica rice has also been grown by Tri Le farmers for over 10 years.

* In the past five years, the demand for decorating landscapes and gardens to welcome Tet has increased. Therefore, at the end of the year, landscape decorators are always busy and overloaded with orders.

Mr. Nguyen Van Ba, a contractor specializing in designing and constructing gardens and miniature landscapes in Nghi An commune (Vinh city) said: "Even though we work overtime and have to hire more seasonal workers, we still cannot meet all of our customers' orders. Currently, many projects have to be refused or postponed until after Tet because designing and constructing gardens and miniature landscapes cannot be done carelessly or quickly. In addition to ensuring that the trees grow well and are healthy, they must be beautiful, reasonable, and have their own mark and style."
