On November 8, while teaching Thanh Tuan's traditional singing class, People's Artist Thanh Tuan became tired, forcing his family to rush him to Cho Ray Hospital for emergency treatment.
If okay, artist Thanh Tuan can be discharged from hospital this week.
Mr. Tam shared that a few days ago, artist Thanh Tuan showed signs of fatigue but he was still very passionate about teaching students. On November 8, when his condition worsened, he was admitted to the hospital. His family said that the doctor determined that Thanh Tuan had a gastric hemorrhage. He lost a lot of blood and had to have a blood transfusion.
Thanh Tuan is now conscious and eating as prescribed by the doctor. "Because my father has many underlying diseases and recently had a near-death experience, the hospital recommended that he stay for observation and receive the best medical care," said Mr. Tam.
Mr. Tam grimaced and said that his father loved singing and teaching too much. Thanh Tuan said he couldn't stand being idle, he had to sing to meet the audience, teach to meet his students to be happy.
"Dad is not like Ms. Hai Le Thuy. In addition to singing, Ms. Hai also has a passion for traveling . Seeing her travel here and there is so much fun and comfort. As for my dad, my mom and siblings begged him to go on a vacation to relax and recover his health, but he refused to go.
My father only loved singing. He loved singing so much that he accepted even when people invited him to perform in shows far away. The show organizer contacted him directly without going through me, so I didn't know. When teaching, when he was very enthusiastic, he sang up to the high notes (high notes in vọng cổ) which startled me, I was afraid that he would try so hard that it would affect his health" - Mr. Tam shared.
He added that the doctor said that if artist Thanh Tuan's health improves this week, he can be discharged from the hospital.

Thanh Tuan's passion for singing is not unfamiliar to those in the profession. In the past, when he was invited to participate in the play "Teacher Ba Doi ", a collaboration between North and South Cai Luong, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Cai Luong stage art, he surprised many people.

On the audition day, he sang quite softly, causing some people to worry whether he could sing on the main night. However, on the opening night, Thanh Tuan proved his class by mastering the role, singing excellently and his passion was still… overwhelming!
Thanh Tuan, like many other golden generation of cai luong artists, no matter how sick he is, but once on stage, his passion for the profession seems strong, he sings with all his heart, sings as if he has never been sick.
Even though some artists, after those moments of ecstasy, need someone to help them backstage, or they tire themselves out and make everyone panic.
The audience was very anxious when they heard that artist Thanh Tuan was hospitalized. Because they still hope he will stay healthy so that he will have enough strength to meet the public in the show next December at Ben Thanh Theater.
