On May 9th, the People's Committee of Hoi An City ( Quang Nam province) announced that, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the establishment of sister city relations between Hoi An City, Vietnam and Szentendre City, Hungary (2014 - 2024), the People's Committee of Hoi An City, in coordination with the Hungarian Embassy in Hanoi, will organize a performance by Hungarian violinist Maestro Vilmos Oláh at 7:00 PM on May 11th at the gate of Ba Mu Pagoda, located in the heart of Hoi An Old Town.
In the enchanting and tranquil ancient town of Hoi An, artist Maestro Vilmos Oláh will perform famous musical works and engage in musical exchanges with young artists of Hoi An.

The performance by violinist Maestro Vilmos Oláh will take place at 7:00 PM on May 11th at the Ba Mu Pagoda Gate, located in the heart of Hoi An's Old Town.
Maestro Vilmos Oláh is a renowned and influential violinist in the field of classical music. He has participated in and won numerous prestigious international awards, including the 2018 Emmy Award. Currently, he holds many roles and is an honorary member of many music associations and organizations around the world .
As a member of UNESCO's Creative Cities Network, one of the international initiatives the city has committed to is the "Hoi An Creative House" project, which aims to make Hoi An a hub for global creative values. Over the past period, Hoi An has clearly demonstrated its role as a city with a unique identity, attracting artists and creative professionals from various fields to interact and perform.
The participation of this renowned violinist in Hoi An further affirms the values that the city has built up over the years. The program also contributes to strengthening cooperative and diplomatic relations between Hoi An in particular and Vietnam in general with Hungary.
