American man reunites with family in Ho Chi Minh City after 50 years: A hug for the 'special person'

Early this morning, October 26th, David and his aunt Catherine Tran's (68 years old) family said goodbye to their Vietnamese family and headed to Tan Son Nhat Airport (Ho Chi Minh City) to begin their journey back to the United States. For them, the past two weeks have been a special and unforgettable experience.

Before that, last night, Mr. David and his Vietnamese family had an intimate farewell party at a restaurant in Binh Tan District, with a special guest, Mr. Do Hong Phuc, who helped Mr. David and his Vietnamese family reunite today. As soon as she met Mr. Phuc, Mrs. Catherine could not hide her emotions, she approached and gave a hug as a heartfelt thank you from her and her nephew to the young architect with a kind heart.
