The reason why the man drowned the boy's head in the swimming pool in Tay Ho

Regarding the case of a boy being drowned in a swimming pool in Tay Ho district ( Hanoi ), on August 18, Tay Ho district police said that the unit had verified that the man who committed the act was Nguyen Tien D. (29 years old, in Phuc Xa ward, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi).

During the process of working with the people involved, the authorities determined that on the afternoon of August 16, Mr. D. took his two sons, aged 8 and 6, to Tay Ho swimming pool (43B Dang Thai Mai street) to learn to swim. While the children swam, Mr. D. sat on the shore watching the children.

At the same time, HA (9 years old) also came to swim. While swimming in the small pool, Mr. D.'s 8-year-old son was teased and pushed from behind by HA. At that time, A. had been reminded by the swimming teacher, so the 29-year-old father did not say anything.

About 15 minutes later, Mr. Dat continued to hear his 6-year-old son crying, so he ran to ask and found out that his son had been pushed down by HA.

Feeling sorry for his son and upset, and knowing that HA went swimming alone, Mr. D. asked HA to apologize to his son. In his anger, Mr. D. jumped into the children's pool and held HA underwater for a few seconds.

After HA apologized to Mr. D's two sons, the three children played together again. At 4:30 p.m. the same day, Mr. D. took his children home.

Tay Ho District Police said that during the settlement process, family representatives from both sides determined that the incident was unwanted, stemming from the children's playtime, and all sides cooperated to resolve the matter. Mr. D. apologized to HA's parents.

Authorities are continuing to handle the case in accordance with the law.
