(NLĐO) - Journalist Ta Bich Loan was awarded the First Class Labor Medal for her contributions at VTV.
On the morning of November 29th, Vietnam Television (VTV) held a ceremony to announce personnel decisions and award the First Class Labor Medal to journalist Ta Bich Loan.
Journalist Ta Bich Loan retired on December 1st.
At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam, General Director of VTV, presented the retirement decision to journalist Ta Thi Bich Loan, Head of the Entertainment Programs Production Department. Journalist Ta Thi Bich Loan had excellently completed her duties and was granted retirement benefits effective December 1, 2024.
Journalist Ta Thi Bich Loan (commonly known as Ta Bich Loan) has worked at VTV for over 29 years, holding various positions, including 16 years in leadership and management roles at the departmental level.
Throughout her career, she consistently excelled in her assigned tasks, making numerous outstanding decisions and contributions to the development of VTV. In recognition of these achievements and contributions, the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam signed a decision awarding her the First Class Labor Medal.
Sending journalist Ta Bich Loan her best wishes for the journey ahead, VTV General Director Nguyen Thanh Lam wished her continued good health, faith, and peace of mind and life, so that she can write even more meaningful chapters in the years to come.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam emphasized that journalist Ta Bich Loan is a well-known figure in society. She is a respected and influential person in the field, with many achievements and contributions recognized by numerous agencies, departments, and localities. She is one of the rare individuals who received formal training in journalism and media.
Joining VTV with the ambition of innovation, VTV3 was launched in 1996 alongside the leaders of that time, creating a phenomenon in the field of television. At that time, they had a clearer understanding of the role and immense influence of VTV not only as the national television station and a media organization, but also as a communication channel meeting the diverse needs of the people – where the interests of the people, businesses, and the economy and society harmoniously converge.
"Ms. Loan not only held a leadership role but also directly created those values through her programs. These programs left their mark on VTV3 and later on Vietnam Television, with Ms. Loan making significant contributions, from 'Seven Colors of the Rainbow,' 'Contemporary People,' 'Road to Olympia '... During her years as a leader in the Entertainment Programs Production Department, Ms. Loan – in her capacity as Deputy Head and later Head – always kept the passion of a professional, dedicated, and inspiring, and also served as an example of living simply and humbly..." - Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam shared.
At the ceremony, VTV also announced Decision No. 1434 appointing Ms. Bui Thu Thuy, Deputy Head of the Entertainment Programs Production Department, to be in charge of managing the Entertainment Programs Production Department.
Accordingly, Ms. Bui Thu Thuy will assume the position of Deputy Head of the Entertainment Programs Production Department from December 1, 2024.
