The speech at the ceremony, presented by Lieutenant Colonel, Dr. Doan Van Tinh, Director of Factory Z753, reviewed the 50-year journey of building and developing the unit. On August 23, 1975, the General Department of Engineering (now the General Department of Logistics and Engineering) decided to establish a representative office in the South, named B753, the predecessor of today's Factory Z753. The initial task was to take over the facilities and technical equipment at Cam Ranh Joint Base and repair and restore post-war equipment.

In the initial period, when facing many difficulties, the Factory repaired thousands of cars of all kinds, hundreds of ships, boats, engines, and processed replacement parts, serving troops in training and combat readiness (SSCD), meeting well the military transportation requirements for units on the Southwestern front.

In 1979, in response to the task of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland, the Factory was transferred to the Navy. Then, on January 1, 1987, the Factory officially switched to economic accounting, exercising the right to production and business autonomy with the original name of Hai Khanh Auto Repair Enterprise (now Hai Khanh One Member Co., Ltd).

Entering the renovation period, Factory Z753 has made strong changes, invested in depth, innovated technology to improve repair and production capacity. Thanks to that, the unit not only completed the defense production task well but also maintained profitable business activities every year. In the past 5 years (2020 - 2024), the production value and revenue in 2024 increased by 17.02% compared to 2020. Average income per capita reached 15.1 million VND/person/month, an increase of 53.2% compared to 2020. In particular, shipbuilding products increased by 58.21% in 2024 and are expected to increase by 114.64% in 2025 compared to 2020.

Over the past 50 years, Factory Z753 has achieved many outstanding achievements, receiving, repairing, and synchronously restoring the technical and tactical features of many types of vehicles, from trucks, guns - artillery, tanks, armored vehicles to modern warships. The unit also builds new ferries, high-speed boats, produces specialized technical materials to replace imported ones, designs and manufactures specialized vehicles and many other high-quality mechanical products.

With its outstanding achievements, Factory Z753 was honored to receive many noble awards from the Party and State: Third-class Military Exploit Medal, Second-class Fatherland Protection Medal, 2 Labor Medals (First, Third class) and 3 Military Exploit Medals (1 First class, 2 Second classes).

Speaking at the ceremony, Rear Admiral Nguyen Thien Quan congratulated the outstanding achievements of the officers and soldiers of Factory Z753. At the same time, he requested the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Factory to continue to lead the building of a clean and strong Party organization, promote innovation in thinking, apply digital transformation to improve competitiveness, and focus on developing multiple industries. In particular, it is necessary to focus on repairing modern equipment, specialized technical materials and expanding cooperation, joint ventures and associations.
