To have a strong impact on the whole society, localities nationwide will organize a 10-day campaign of the Community Digital Technology Team ( October 1, 2024 - October 10, 2024 ). The Community Digital Technology Teams will launch at communes, wards, and towns... with the motto "Go to every alley, knock on every door, guide each citizen to use services and practical applications to develop the digital economy ". The focus is on guiding people to use online public services; cashless payments; buying and selling on Vietnamese e-commerce platforms; protecting themselves and their families online; searching for information effectively on the Internet... At the same time, deploy communication activities to respond to National Digital Transformation Day from September 15 to October 10, 2024 or throughout the entire month of October 2024.
The Ministry of Information and Communications coordinates with ministries, branches and localities to organize events in response to National Digital Transformation Day such as: Launching organizations and individuals to create and develop digital applications to develop the digital economy; organizing to honor outstanding digital applications to develop the digital economy; organizing a discussion between the Prime Minister and individuals, businesses and members of the typical community digital technology group nationwide; organizing the "Make in Viet Nam Digital Technology Product" award, the National Forum for Developing Vietnamese Digital Technology Enterprises, a workshop to promote 5G technology products; organizing the launch and introduction of publications on the information technology industry, "Make in Viet Nam" digital technology products, developing the digital economy, green economy, circular economy, e-commerce; implementing the program to popularize the national domain name ".vn", especially for students, businesses, business households, etc.
In Decision No. 505/QD-TTg dated April 22, 2022, the Prime Minister approved October 10 every year as National Digital Transformation Day.
