On the morning of October 26th, Mr. Le Cong Dien, Deputy Director of the Hue City Department of Construction, stated that heavy rain from last night continuing into this morning has caused localized flooding and landslides on many roads in the area.
Specifically, National Highway 49B, passing through the Phong Dinh, Phong Phu, and Duong No wards, is flooded at dozens of points, with water levels ranging from 0.1 to 0.3 meters. Authorities have erected barricades to warn people and vehicles using the road.

Meanwhile, on National Highway 49, at Km47+270, Km50+500, Km74+600, and Km61-Km75+100-Km76 (Ta Luong Pass), there were landslides on the embankment, and vehicles could only travel in one lane.
Sections of provincial roads 4, 8C, and 8A are submerged in floodwaters nearly 1 meter deep.
Provincial Road 10A, from km 19+550, has numerous potholes scattered over an area of 200m² . From km 3+800 to km 5+500, weeds and garbage are overflowing onto the road surface.
The Department of Construction is currently coordinating with relevant agencies and local authorities to handle the matter.

Earlier that morning, many low-lying areas in Hoa Chau ward and Quang Dien commune, Hue City, continued to be deeply flooded due to heavy rain. Residents had to use boats to navigate the flooded streets to buy food and other essential supplies.
