On the morning of October 26, Mr. Le Cong Dien, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction of Hue City, said that heavy rain from last night until this morning continued to cause localized flooding and landslides on many roads in the area.
In particular, National Highway 49B passing through the wards of Phong Dinh, Phong Phu, and Duong No was flooded in dozens of places, with a depth of 0.1-0.3m. Currently, the authorities have set up barriers to warn people and vehicles participating in traffic.


On Highway 49 at Km47+270, Km50+500, Km74+600, Km61-Km75+100-Km76 (Ta Luong Pass), there was a landslide on the negative slope, vehicles could only move in one lane.
Provincial roads 4, 8C, 8A in many sections are flooded nearly 1 meter deep.
Provincial Road 10A from km19+550 has many potholes scattered over 200m2 . From km3+800 to km5+500, rubbish is scattered all over the road.
Currently, the Department of Construction is coordinating with functional agencies and local authorities to handle the matter.

On the same morning, many low-lying areas in Hoa Chau ward and Quang Dien commune, Hue city continued to be deeply flooded due to heavy rain. People had to use boats to travel on flooded roads to go shopping for food and essential necessities.
