Many communes and wards of An Giang province held conferences to commend advanced models in the period 2025

Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of An Phu commune, Quach To Giang, presented awards to outstanding role models.

At the first conference to commend outstanding individuals for the period 2025-2030, the People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Phu commune awarded 17 outstanding individuals for the period 2020-2025.

During the period 2020-2025, patriotic emulation movements were effectively implemented by the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front, and political and social organizations of An Phu commune, closely adhering to political tasks. This created a vibrant atmosphere of emulation, attracting the active participation of a large number of people and contributing to the successful implementation of local socio-economic development tasks.

Delegates attending the conference were commended.

Ms. Ho Thi Ut Be, Deputy Head of the Emulation and Commendation Board (Department of Internal Affairs of An Giang province), and Mr. Tran Minh Duc, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of My Thoi ward, commended the exemplary advanced collectives.

Over the past period, the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front, and various associations and organizations in My Thoi ward, An Giang province , have organized and implemented widespread emulation movements in all areas of social life, which have been actively supported by all strata of the people.

Over the past five years, the people of My Thoi ward have contributed to the construction of over 44 projects including bridges, roads, public lighting systems, and landslide remediation, with a total cost exceeding 18 billion VND from social mobilization. To date, the ward maintains its status as a civilized urban ward and strives to become an exemplary ward by 2026-2027.

At the first conference to commend outstanding individuals and groups for the period 2025-2030 , My Thoi ward awarded 40 outstanding individuals and groups.

The People's Committee of Binh Son commune (An Giang province) organized the first conference to commend outstanding individuals and achievements; summarize the patriotic emulation movement and reward work for the period 2020-2025, and implement directions and tasks for the period 2025-2030.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister awarded certificates of merit to 3 individuals for their achievements in education and training from the 2019-2020 school year to the 2023-2024 school year. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Son commune awarded certificates of merit to 4 collectives and 10 individuals for their good achievements in implementing the patriotic emulation movement in the 2020-2025 period; and awarded certificates of merit to 4 individuals for their outstanding achievements in verifying, apprehending, and persuading 2 dangerous wanted fugitives to surrender.

Implementing the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2020-2025, Binh Son commune achieved several outstanding results: Organizing the ceremony to announce the achievement of new rural standards in 2022; mobilizing contributions to the fund for the poor totaling over 2 billion VND; mobilizing donations of 3,785 gifts during holidays and Tet with a total value of 1.35 billion VND; building 55 solidarity houses from the movement "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025" with an implementation cost of over 3.29 billion VND, achieving 100% of the target assigned by the higher authorities…

At the first conference to commend outstanding individuals and groups (2025 - 2030), the People's Committee of Chau Phu commune (An Giang province) commended 18 outstanding collectives and 18 outstanding individuals and groups for their contributions to the local economy, culture, and social development during the 2020 - 2025 period.

The People's Committee of the commune is calling on all cadres, Party members, civil servants, and the people to continue actively participating in patriotic emulation movements and contributing to the development of their homeland in the coming time.
