On the afternoon of April 4, Nhu Xuan district held a conference to review 5 years of implementing Resolution No. 13-NQ/TU dated January 11, 2019 of the Provincial Party Committee on land accumulation and concentration for large-scale, high-tech agricultural development by 2025, with a vision to 2030; commending Party cell secretaries, village and neighborhood chiefs for implementing the emulation movement "joining hands to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" in the 2021-2023 period in the district.

Nhu Xuan is a district with diverse and rich land potential, located near dynamic economic zones and potential regions of the province. In recent years, determining that agricultural and forestry production plays a key role in the economic structure of the district, on the basis of thoroughly grasping the policies of the province, especially Resolution No. 13-NQ/TU dated January 11, 2019 of the Provincial Party Committee on land accumulation and concentration for large-scale, high-tech agricultural development by 2025, with a vision to 2030, all levels, sectors and localities in the district have focused on leading and directing the effective implementation of shifting the structure of crops, livestock and crops; enhancing the application of scientific and technical advances in production and livestock, thereby achieving important results.
In the period of 2019-2023, the total area of land accumulation for large-scale agricultural production, applying high technology or following high technology in Nhu Xuan district reached 3,037 hectares, exceeding 117 hectares, reaching 104% of the set target, including: 766 hectares of cultivated land, 341 hectares of livestock land, 1,930 hectares of forestry land. The value of agricultural production according to high-tech standards in cultivation reached 550 million VND/ha/year, in livestock reached 600 million VND/ha/year. The value of production according to high technology in cultivation reached 300 million VND/ha/year; in livestock reached 400 million VND/ha/year; in forestry reached 250 million VND/ha/according to the production cycle.

In the emulation movement "joining hands to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" in the period of 2021 - 2023, the Party committees, authorities and organizations of Nhu Xuan district have focused on widely and comprehensively disseminating the National Target Program on New Rural Construction (NTP-NRD), building model neighborhoods in the district with the active participation of the people. Thereby, it has changed the face of the countryside, improved the material and spiritual life of the people; many localities and individuals in the district have had good and creative ways of doing things suitable to the actual conditions. The total capital mobilized to implement the NTP-NRD in the district in the period of 2021-2023 reached more than 589 billion VND, of which the capital mobilized from the people and the community was more than 217 billion VND.
At the conference, delegates presented lessons learned in land accumulation and concentration for large-scale agricultural development in the direction of high technology and the implementation of the emulation movement "joining hands to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas". From there, solutions were proposed to strive from now until the end of 2025 to accumulate and concentrate land for large-scale agricultural development in the direction of high technology, increasing by 780 hectares; continue to promote propaganda work to strongly change people's awareness in the direction of "building new rural areas is a continuous, regular process, with a starting point but no ending point"; building new rural areas in Nhu Xuan in the direction of "green, harmonious, and unique".
Leaders of Nhu Xuan district awarded certificates of merit to collectives with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "joining hands to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" in the period 2021 - 2023.
At the conference, the District People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 24 collectives and 23 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "joining hands to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" in the period 2021 - 2023.
