On the night of April 14 (Vietnam time), U23 Vietnam continued to have a training session at AL Erssal Stadium. The training session can be considered a final test for the entire team before coach Hoang Anh Tuan makes a decision on the official list of 23 players participating in the 2024 AFC U23 Championship.
In order to relieve the students' stress, Coach Hoang Anh Tuan incorporated some fun mini games into the warm-up session and created a bond between the players. The training session started naturally with hearty laughter.
However, when it came to the main content of the training session, seriousness returned when the coaching staff made very high demands on the players, especially in the part of dividing the teams into opposing teams from half the field and then expanding to the entire field. With only 2 days left until the team's opening match against U23 Kuwait, Coach Hoang Anh Tuan was very focused on his work. He carefully planned the lesson with the hope of quickly overcoming the remaining problems of his students and sharpening the playing style for U23 Vietnam.
On the morning of April 15 (Qatar time), U23 Vietnam will participate in a photo shoot for the media for the 2024 U23 Asia. Coach Hoang Anh Tuan will also make the final decision on the list of 23 players participating in the tournament. The team will return to the training ground in the afternoon of the same day.
