As part of the Vietnam Agricultural Products Week 2025 held in Hanoi, on the morning of October 25th, the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ) organized a livestream session connecting consumers with ST25 rice, with the participation of People's Artist Tu Long, MC Mai Phuong, and many content creators.
During the livestream, People's Artist Tu Long introduced ST25 rice – a famous Vietnamese rice variety – promoted the image of various rice brands, and invited customers to experience and purchase them.
The live broadcast featured numerous promotions and discount vouchers aimed at stimulating consumption of Vietnamese agricultural products, attracting thousands of viewers and hundreds of orders. After about two hours, approximately 6 tons of rice had been ordered by customers.
Mr. Tran Huu Linh, Director of the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development, assessed that livestreaming to connect agricultural product consumption is a new approach, in line with the trend of digital commerce.
"Through this activity, we hope not only to spread the value of ST25 rice - the pride of Vietnamese rice - but also to contribute to bringing Vietnamese agricultural products closer to domestic consumers," he said.

Earlier this month, Mr. Linh participated in a livestream introducing mooncake products, directly experiencing and evaluating various baked mooncakes with fillings such as glutinous rice flakes and mung bean with lotus seeds.
Mr. Linh affirmed that his presence stemmed from his love for national cultural values, and called on people to join hands in preserving and promoting local specialty products.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Vietnam Agricultural Products Week 2025 is an opportunity for localities to introduce and promote their distinctive agricultural products, contributing to connecting supply and demand, boosting consumption of Vietnamese goods, and affirming the brand of Vietnamese agricultural products in the market. Hundreds of unique agricultural products are showcased, creating a diverse and attractive exhibition space that attracts a large number of people and tourists.
