Discovering his son hiding a gun in a brick kiln, the father reported it to the police.

On May 24, news from Long Ho District Police ( Vinh Long ) said that the unit is coordinating to verify and hand over to the competent authority to handle the case of a young man hiding a gun with features similar to a military weapon at a brick kiln.

The gun was determined to function as a military weapon.

Accordingly, on May 8, Long Ho District Police received a report from Mr. NVBH (47 years old, in Thanh My 1 hamlet, Thanh Duc commune, Long Ho district) about discovering that his son NTT (25 years old, in the same locality) had hidden in a brick kiln a revolver, 4 bullets with shells and metal heads.

Upon receiving the report, Long Ho District Police quickly arrived at the scene, made a record, seized the gun and ammunition mentioned above and requested an appraisal. The result showed that the gun had similar features to a military weapon.

The above gun hiding case is being further investigated and handled by Long Ho District Police according to the provisions of law.
