Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union becomes Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Long

Mr. Tran Cong Khanh, Deputy Secretary of Vinh Long Provincial Youth Union, was appointed to the position of Deputy Director of Vinh Long Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism for a term of 5 years.

On December 9, information from the People's Committee of Vinh Long province said that it had just announced the decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on receiving and appointing Mr. Tran Cong Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the Vinh Long Provincial Youth Union, to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Long.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Be Muoi, Vice Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee, presented the decision and flowers to congratulate the new Deputy Director of Vinh Long Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Tran Cong Khanh.

Mr. Tran Cong Khanh was appointed as Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism for a term of 5 years from December 1.

In his acceptance speech, the new Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Long thanked the provincial leaders for entrusting him with new responsibilities and tasks. At the same time, he pledged that in the coming time, he will strive, research, study, improve his working capacity, train his ideology, qualities, political ethics and constantly learn, together with the new collective and unit to perform well the assigned tasks.

Mr. Tran Cong Khanh (39 years old, from Vinh Long), has a master's degree in law and a senior degree in political theory. The new Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Long has held positions such as: Secretary of the Tam Binh District Youth Union (formerly Vinh Long), Secretary of the My Loc Commune Party Committee (formerly Tam Binh District), Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tam Binh District (formerly); Deputy Secretary; Secretary of the Vinh Long Provincial Youth Union for the 2022-2027 term.
