Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien worked with SCAVI Group

This morning, July 8, in Dong Ha ward, Quang Tri province, Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien had a working session with the working delegation of SCAVI Group led by Chairman and Founder of B'Lao - SCAVI Group Tran Van Phu.

During the meeting, B'Lao – SCAVI Group proposed its desire to find a location in Central Vietnam to expand its manufacturing plant to international standards. Following this, they called for the establishment of a specialized textile and garment supporting industrial park focusing on lingerie, swimwear, and sportswear. Their immediate goal is to attract strategic suppliers in the textile and garment supporting industries, while also hoping to bring socio-economic benefits to the local area.

SCAVI is an industrial hub owned by the B'Lao Group, employing 20,000 people worldwide . SCAVI received its first Foreign Direct Investment (FDI No. 1 – across all sectors – in Vietnam) in 1988 and is a leading global outsourcing company for lingerie, swimwear, sportswear, and protective clothing in Vietnam.

The Group's representatives also expressed their desire for Quang Tri province to create favorable conditions for building a factory in the province to take advantage of the province's abundant human resources. Once the factory is built in Quang Tri, it will form a chain system in the Central region.

At the same time, we hope the province will support the acceleration of the investment license issuance process; ensure the protection of infrastructure and human resources... to create favorable conditions not only for Scavi but also for other investors.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien provided further information on the current situation and advantages of Quang Tri province and welcomed investors to Quang Tri to explore investment opportunities.

Provincial leaders are always keen to receive green, environmentally friendly projects that effectively utilize the abundant local labor force. The Group's investment ideas align with the local development strategy.

Furthermore, Quang Tri province always considers the development of businesses as the development of the province, and therefore will always stand alongside businesses.
