Regarding the incident where a male parent stormed into the school and assaulted a student in the classroom, on the afternoon of September 25th, Mr. Le Cong Thong - the principal of Nguyen Du Secondary School in Tam Ky City, Quang Nam province - said that the school had invited the parents and students to a meeting that morning.

The school also recorded the meeting. During the meeting, the students admitted their mistakes and promised to correct them.

The male parent who hit the student in the middle of the classroom expressed deep remorse, realizing that he had acted impulsively and should have reported the incident to the school when it occurred.

The parents admitted their mistake and apologized. All three parents agreed that the incident would end there, would not happen again, and there would be no further complaints or appeals.

According to Mr. Thong, the school's stance is to invite parents to a meeting first, create a record of the meeting with the parents, and then the school will report to the police and the Department of Education and Training.

"The incident of entering the school and assaulting the student was completely wrong. The parents have admitted their mistake and said they will not repeat it," said Mr. Thong.

The head of the Tam Ky City Department of Education and Training said they are awaiting a report from the school and will direct the relevant authorities to report to the Tam Ky City People's Committee for handling the incident.
