Le Chan Ward dismantles constructions serving the Urban Beautification Project

The demolition of the construction of the Housing Management and Trading One Member Co., Ltd. contributes to speeding up the site clearance for the Urban Renovation Construction Investment Project at 150 To Hieu, Le Chan Ward.

On the morning of September 6th, the People's Committee of Le Chan Ward organized the demolition of the structure located on land belonging to the One-Member Limited Liability Company for Housing Management and Business, within the scope of the urban renovation investment project (apartment building combined with commercial and service center) at lots OTM2-1, N2-3, CX2-4, in block A2 of the 1/2000 detailed planning of Le Chan District (No. 150 To Hieu Street).

According to the People's Committee of Le Chan Ward, the urban renovation and construction project at 150 To Hieu Street covers an area of ​​16,179.6 ^m² , including 3 organizations with an area of ​​11,864.1 ^m² ; 52 households with an area of ​​3,071.9 ^m² ; and 1,243.6 ^m² of land managed by the People's Committee of the ward.

After the two-tiered local government model came into operation, the People's Committee of Le Chan Ward received the project documents and completed the payment of compensation and resettlement support to the Housing Management and Business Company Limited. Le Chan Ward, in coordination with the Le Chan Area Project Management Board, developed a comprehensive resettlement plan, estimating compensation and support for 52 households with a total budget of approximately 341 billion VND.

The demolition contributes to speeding up land clearance, creating favorable conditions for the early implementation of the urban renovation investment project at 150 To Hieu.

According to Notice No. 466/TB-VP dated August 29, 2025, from the Office of the People's Committee of the city regarding the conclusions of the Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of the city, Le Anh Quan, at the field inspection and report on the progress of land clearance for projects being implemented in Le Chan and An Bien wards, the People's Committee of Le Chan ward needs to urgently prepare and approve the compensation, support, and resettlement plan for all households affected by the urban renovation investment project at 150 To Hieu Street before September 10, 2025; and to disseminate information and encourage households to hand over the land for the project before September 15, 2025.
