From September 21, General Secretary andPresident To Lam and his wife, along with a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, attended the Future Summit, the 79th United Nations General Assembly, and worked in the United States.
The working visit to the United States by General Secretary and President To Lam marks one year since the two countries adopted the Joint Statement, elevating the relationship to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for peace , cooperation and sustainable development; towards the 30th anniversary of the normalization of relations between the two countries.
