Strictly manage and ensure the quality of education at private preschools.

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Private preschool groups have the main task of nurturing, caring for and educating children according to the preschool education program, while ensuring the physical and mental safety of children. To improve the quality of education, many private preschools have focused on investing in facilities, applying new educational methods, and paying attention to training skills... to help children develop comprehensively.

We arrived at Ban Mai private preschool (Quang Phu ward) while the Star class was having a practical lesson with an experiment called "Meteor Shower." Under the teacher's guidance, the children created a "sky full of stars" right in the classroom. The shimmering "stars" fell amidst exclamations of wonder, delighted eyes, and radiant smiles from the children. Through this activity, the children not only learned about this fascinating natural phenomenon but also developed observation skills, reflexes, and teamwork abilities.

Meanwhile, the children in the Sky class at this facility are also participating in the "Creating a Family Tree" activity. Each leaf on the tree represents a family member, meticulously attached by the children with all their love and pride. Through this activity, the children not only develop their dexterity but also learn to recognize and name family members, understand more about family bonds, and appreciate their loved ones.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ly, owner of Ban Mai private preschool, said: “Along with implementing many solutions to improve the quality of childcare and education, the facility also invests in a piano to help children develop their musical talent, hires foreign teachers to teach English to children...; integrates STEM education content and life skills education according to various themes, helping children practice communication skills, teamwork, and quick reflexes through group games and activities... Through this, it helps children form good habits and develop their thinking.”

Similarly, at the Bon Kids private independent daycare center (Hac Thanh ward), to meet the teaching and learning needs, the group leader has built spacious facilities, ensuring the conditions for caring for, nurturing, and educating children...

Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Tam, Professional Manager at Bon Kids, a private independent preschool, stated: “The facility currently has over 50 children aged 14 months to 4 years old, divided into 4 classes. Along with focusing on investing in facilities and purchasing modern equipment and toys, the facility has continuously innovated teaching methods, paying attention to and developing open educational programs to improve quality and provide children with knowledge and skills, such as: life skills education, talent development, and experiential activities and field trips... Integrating learning and play not only creates enthusiasm for children but also lays the initial foundation for their comprehensive physical and intellectual development.”

Along with teaching academic knowledge, many facilities also integrate new and advanced educational methods, not only creating excitement but also helping children develop good skills and habits, and fostering independence from an early age. Ms. Bui Thi Ly, head of Hoa Thien Ly preschool group (Kim Tan commune), said: "Our facility currently has two classes, both applying teaching according to the standards of the Ministry of Education and Training's curriculum. In addition, we also combine teaching using STEM and Montessori methods. In the future, we will open more kindergarten classes and recruit more experienced teachers to meet the increasing demand for childcare from parents."

To ensure children's rights and strengthen efforts to prevent and combat violence and abuse against children, at the end of April 2025, the National Committee for Children issued Official Letter No. 2444/UBQGVTE requesting the Ministry of Education and Training to direct the review, inspection, and examination of preschool education institutions (especially independent preschools) to promptly and strictly handle institutions that violate regulations and rules on organization and operation regarding a safe, healthy, and friendly educational environment, contributing to the prevention and combating of school violence. At the same time, it requested increased dissemination and education on knowledge and skills regarding the prevention and combating of child abuse and school violence for administrators, teachers, staff of educational institutions, families, and children.

According to Decree No. 142/2024/ND-CP recently issued by the Government, from July 1, 2025, the Chairman of the People's Committee at the commune level will be granted the authority to directly manage preschool, primary, and secondary education levels within their jurisdiction. Therefore, to contribute to improving the quality of childcare and education at private preschools, the People's Committees of wards and communes need to strengthen inspection and supervision of the operation of private preschools in their areas; encourage these institutions to invest more in facilities and teaching equipment; and focus on attracting qualified teachers... thereby contributing to improving the quality of childcare and education.
