Vo Van Kiet Scholarship Fund helps thousands of students go to school

The Vo Van Kiet Scholarship Fund was established from the initiative of the Bac Lieu Scholarship Association, now under the jurisdiction of Ca Mau Province. After more than 10 years of operation, the Fund has become a support for tens of thousands of poor students, especially ethnic minority students and those in difficult circumstances, implementing the motto "Leave no one behind".

Representatives of the Scholarship Fund presented 350 bicycles and 35,000 notebooks to disadvantaged students in Ca Mau province in preparation for the 2025-2026 school year.

To date, the Fund has mobilized over 46 billion VND, awarded more than 10,000 scholarships, donated 8,000 bicycles, hundreds of thousands of notebooks, textbooks and learning tools with a total value of about 30 billion VND, helping children overcome difficulties and continue their dream of going to school, including many children affected by the Covid-19 epidemic.

According to Mr. Tran Hoang Duyen, Chairman of the Vo Van Kiet Scholarship Fund , in the 2025-2026 school year, the Fund organized two gift-giving campaigns to support students going to school. The first campaign took place at the end of August 2025 with 500 bicycles and 50,000 notebooks. The second campaign took place at the beginning of the new school year with 905 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND, for students in difficult circumstances.

Hundreds of bicycles were given to students at the beginning of the school year so they have a means of transportation to school.

The Fund's activities contribute to building a learning society, spreading the spirit of encouraging learning and talent, and at the same time realizing the Party and State's policies and guidelines in creating conditions for all people to study for life following the example of President Ho Chi Minh.
