The “For a Better Life” Fund of Dai-ichi Life Vietnam Company (Dai-ichi Life Vietnam) and Mr. Tran Dinh Quan, Chairman of the Board of Members of Dai-ichi Life Vietnam and Chairman of the “For a Better Life” Fund, have just been honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs for their outstanding achievements in protecting, caring for andeducating children in 2024.
In 2024, the "For a Beautiful Life" Fund sponsored 700 million VND to the Vietnam Children's Fund to support 540 children in special and difficult circumstances; of which, 500 scholarships were awarded to 500 students in 5 provinces and cities: Quang Ninh, Ha Nam, Hung Yen, Can Tho , Dong Nai and 40 cash prizes, totaling 200 million VND, to 40 children affected by storm Yagi and floods in Yen Bai. This is the 7th consecutive year that the "For a Beautiful Life" Fund has accompanied the Vietnam Children's Fund with a total sponsorship amount of 4 billion VND.
Mr. Tran Dinh Quan, Chairman of the Board of Members of Dai-ichi Life Vietnam and Chairman of the “For a Better Life” Fund, shared: “We are very touched and proud to receive the Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs. Along with efforts to develop sustainable business, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam has always been a pioneer and devoted to fulfilling social responsibilities through practical programs and initiatives to support people in difficult circumstances, especially children.”
In addition to the activities in coordination with the Vietnam Children's Fund, in 2024, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam has implemented more than 270 community support programs in 63 provinces and cities nationwide, including many meaningful educational support programs with nearly 5,000 scholarships, study encouragement gifts and health care with a total value of more than 1.8 billion VND awarded to students in difficult circumstances in remote areas and provinces and cities affected by storms and floods nationwide.
Through the “For a better life” Fund, in over 17 years of operation and development in Vietnam, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam has actively contributed to the community with an amount of over 76 billion VND, focusing across 4 areas: education, health care, environment and social charity.
