“For a beautiful life” fund supports 700 million VND to help children in difficult circumstances

The "For a Beautiful Life" Fund of Dai-ichi Life Vietnam and Mr. Tran Dinh Quan, Chairman of the Board of Members of Dai-ichi Life Vietnam and Chairman of the "For a Beautiful Life" Fund, have been honored with a Certificate of Commendation from the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs for their outstanding achievements in protecting, caring for, and educating children in 2024.

In 2024, the "For a Beautiful Life" Fund donated 700 million VND to the Vietnam Children's Protection Fund to support 540 children in special and difficult circumstances; including 500 scholarships for 500 students in 5 provinces and cities: Quang Ninh, Ha Nam, Hung Yen, Can Tho, and Dong Nai, and 40 cash grants, totaling 200 million VND, for 40 children affected by Typhoon Yagi and floods in Yen Bai . This is the 7th consecutive year that the "For a Beautiful Life" Fund has partnered with the Vietnam Children's Protection Fund, with a total donation of 4 billion VND.

Mr. Tran Dinh Quan, Chairman of the Board of Members of Dai-ichi Life Vietnam and Chairman of the "For a Beautiful Life" Fund, shared: "We are deeply moved and proud to receive the Certificate of Commendation from the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs. Alongside our efforts to develop sustainable business, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam has always been a pioneer and dedicated to fulfilling its social responsibility through practical programs and initiatives to support people in difficult circumstances, especially children."

In addition to collaborative activities with the Vietnam Children's Protection Fund, in 2024, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam implemented more than 270 community support programs in 63 provinces and cities nationwide. Many of these programs provided meaningful educational support, with nearly 5,000 scholarships, gifts, and healthcare assistance totaling over VND 1.8 billion awarded to disadvantaged students in remote areas and provinces affected by storms and floods across the country.

Through its "For a Beautiful Life" Fund, over more than 17 years of operation and development in Vietnam, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam has made positive contributions to the community with over 76 billion VND, focusing across four areas: education, healthcare , environment, and social charity.
