The AI Assistant - ISAAC robot, integrated into the ICLASS digital classroom, is part of a smart learning ecosystem, with a focus on applying AI to live classroom teaching.

The integrated artificial intelligence (AI) system supports voice adjustment, accurately identifying and correcting pronunciation errors, helping to improve English listening and speaking skills naturally and effectively.

In particular, students' learning progress is monitored and evaluated directly on the system after each lesson, helping teachers to promptly understand each student's abilities and adjust teaching methods accordingly.

The AI Assistant - ISAAC Robot acts as a classroom assistant, capable of supporting teachers with natural-sounding voice reading from text, directly interacting with students through questions, providing intelligent feedback, and organizing group quizzes and games. In addition, the AI Assistant - ISAAC Robot demonstrates safe mobility and friendly communication, contributing to a vibrant and engaging learning environment.

Mr. Pham Nguyen Bao Ngoc, a specialist at the Phu Nhuan District Education Department, Ho Chi Minh City, said: “I tested three different questioning methods, and the AI provided accurate analysis, pointing out inaccurate sounds for improvement and allowing me to listen back to my own speech. This is also part of my goal of applying technology to education, which I am researching for implementation.”

After implementing the ISAAC robot in her classroom, Ms. Dinh Thi Huyen Tran, an English teacher at Truong Dinh Primary School in District 12, observed: “The appearance of the ISAAC robot has made students very interested. While robots have been well-known for a long time, the students had almost never experienced being evaluated, interacting with, and answering questions directly.”

The application of AI Assistant - ISAAC Robot in the ICLASS digital classroom is highly appreciated.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh, Business Development Director of iSMART Education, shared: “We want to transform AI solutions into a familiar and friendly tool, helping elementary school students access technology in the most natural way, instead of feeling alienated or overwhelmed. iSMART Education officially launched the ISAAC robot for the first time last weekend at the workshop "Applying AI in teaching and learning English for 5th graders" held at Truong Dinh Primary School (District 12, Ho Chi Minh City), with the participation of representatives from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, the District 12 Department of Education and Training, specialists, teachers, parents, and students.
The workshop aimed to introduce a classroom model integrating artificial intelligence technology into English classes for 5th-grade students under the 2018 General Education Program, while also creating a space for sharing, observing, and evaluating the feasibility of applying AI in teaching and learning practices.
