Rockstar Games hacked again, GTA 5 source code leaked online

According to Gadget360 , Rockstar Games has once again become the center of the world gaming scene, when rumors about the complete source code of the best-selling game of all time Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA 5) along with other sensitive documents have been leaked.

Just days after the 18-year-old hacker who stole and leaked GTA 6 data was sentenced to indefinite detention in a mental hospital by a US court, Rockstar Games continues to face another storm.

Accordingly, YouTuber SKizzleAXE posted on social network X (Twitter) a number of screenshots said to be evidence of the leak, including the entire GTA 5 source code showing the entire original map of the game, clues about the 'Project Americas' project that was once set for GTA 6 and the canceled GTA Tokyo PS2 project.

Most notably, the appearance of files related to the game Bully 2 has fueled hopes of releasing a sequel to the game that has been with many generations of gamers since 2006. In 2018, there were reports that Bully 2 would be released that year, but so far Rockstar Games has not made any official announcement.

Gaming Detective (@that1detectiv3) on X said the full extent of the latest leak is still unknown, but it could cause a number of technical issues, including potentially delaying the launch of GTA 6. Rockstar Games has yet to make any official comment.

The leak comes after a shocking incident in September 2022 when teenage hacker Arion Kurtaj posted more than 90 gameplay videos of GTA 6 online, which is considered the biggest leak in gaming history. Last week, the hacker was sentenced to indefinite detention in a mental hospital.
