Roshel Senator - B7 level armored vehicle for all terrain combat

To increase its capacity, the ICE (US Immigration and Customs Enforcement) has purchased 20 Roshel Senator armored vehicles for more than 7.2 million USD (more than 189 billion VND).

Roshel Senator is a B7-class armored vehicle, suitable for all terrains. This is a specialized vehicle widely used by ICE forces in pursuit and transporting forces on complex terrain.

The Roshel Senator is based on the Ford F-550 pickup truck platform and meets the criteria of the “Buy American” law, although the manufacturer Roshel is based in Ontario, Canada. The vehicle can serve as an armored personnel carrier (APC) or an infantry fighting vehicle (IMV).

This Roshel Senator armored SUV has dimensions of 5.6 x 2.4 x 2.75 m, ground clearance up to 400 mm thanks to 20-inch wheels, allowing flexible movement in many combat situations.

In terms of protection, the ICE's Roshel Senators meet B7 ballistic standards, able to withstand 308, 30-06, 7.62 mm bullets as well as explosions from improvised explosive devices (IEDs) or bombs.

The vehicle’s cockpit still has the same layout as the original Ford F-550, but has been refined to suit the mission of law enforcement. The troop compartment can accommodate up to 10 soldiers and 2 crew members.

The vehicle is equipped with a bulletproof glass system arranged around, supporting better observation, and integrating shooting slots to serve combat from the inside. At the back there is also a standing platform to support observation from the gun turret or install anti-drone equipment.

Powering the Roshel Senator is a 6.7L Power Stroke V8 diesel engine producing 340 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque, combined with a 10-speed TorqShift automatic transmission and 4x4 drive system.

Thanks to its many years of experience in the field of armored vehicle manufacturing, Roshel is currently one of the few units that can fully meet the strict technical standards set by ICE, while ensuring delivery progress within just 30 days after signing the contract.

Not only serving in the US, Roshel Senator is also used by many security forces and armies around the world such as South Korea, Brazil, Moldova, Bosnia & Herzegovina... The price of the armored Roshel Senator is about more than 9.4 billion VND.

Notably, this vehicle is being deployed in large numbers in Ukraine, with more than 1,500 serving the armed forces and about 200 for border guards as of March 2025.
