On July 17, the leader of Thuong Trach Commune Health Station, Quang Tri Province, said that the unit had successfully supported a special birth for pregnant woman Mang Xon (born in 2000, residing in Noong Ma village, Bua La Pha district, Khammouane province, Laos).
Previously, Ms. Mang Xon showed signs of abnormal labor, but local medical conditions did not meet the requirements, so her relatives decided to take her to Vietnam, to the nearest medical facility for examination.

At Thuong Trach Commune Health Station, medical staff diagnosed that the pregnant woman was in poor health and had an unstable fetal heart rate, so they immediately transferred her to another facility.
However, while on the move, the pregnant woman suddenly went into labor. The station's medical staff quickly handled the situation and delivered the baby safely.
Currently, both mother and child are stable and are being cared for and monitored at the health station. Local authorities have visited and supported the mother and praised the sense of responsibility and timely handling of the medical team.
